Each doll captures the personality or characteristic of a fantasy or real person, animal or period style. Dolls are an integral part of the fiber movement today, even though some may reflect the folk doll from yester year.

   Wearable Art – “Tie One On“

It’s no surprise that handsome men’s ties can be used by the artist to create wonderful wearable items.  The “Tie One On” can be a jacket, purse, jewelry as long as it’s made from ties, tie-dyed fabric or made by tying.  This year’s theme will produce unusual work using a variety of techniques.

“Beyond Our Horizon”

These art pieces may be large or as small as a postcard.  They reflect artists’ works that consist of fabric but may not be quilted,  bound or consist of three layers.  Flowing hand-dyed silk, cotton and exotic fabrics will be featured.  Stroll through and absorb the extraordinary.
